Ariège is a fantastic playground! The workshop is located in Mirepoix, not far from beautiful, quiet roads in the middle of the forests for Gravel practice, but also very close to the Tabe massif, an ideal terrain for trail running and hiking!

Getting active and feeling alive outside, on trails, roads or at the top of a peak, is something incredible.
My first bag, made almost four years ago, was a response to a personal need: not to carry a backpack when I was cycling to get closer to my trail start, to avoid using the car.
Since then, the car remains parked most of the time and the principle of designing hybrid solutions, which can be used between several activities such as gravel riding or hiking, is very present in our creations. Our Satellite fanny pack is a good example of this.
Versatility
This year, we are working on a new project where we are applying the same principle: a hydration jacket with cargo pockets on the front, ideal for bikepacking and gravel riding but also for climbing to the summits.
A perfect summer day for me is riding at sunrise, watching the play of light, feeling my heart race with the effort, listening to nature awakening, coming face to face with a deer and returning to my little family, sharing moments of tenderness, smiles and then finding my dear sewing machines.
Gravel practice and multiple activities
Since I was young, I have always loved crossing several disciplines: bodyboarding, swimming, running, climbing, gravel riding, road biking, mountain biking, trail running, hiking. It gives different feelings, to be applied according to our desires and always have something to do to escape outside…
As we came down from the mountain, the heat was becoming more and more intense. A small detour to get some fresh air was necessary.
A beautiful mix of atmospheres and landscapes, from morning to evening.
In the company of my old friend Aurélien Rossato , a talented photographer with whom we have already had the chance to capture many wonderful escapades.

Ricardo has been thinking for a long time about reducing his environmental impact, whether through his sporting practice of cycling, running, or in his everyday life, having decided to be vegetarian more than 20 years ago. Curious and passionate, he started creating and manufacturing his first objects when his grandfather gave him a sewing machine for his 17th birthday, and since then, he has worked to create, repair, and manufacture with the same energy and in the same direction, that of sobriety and localism. Convinced that the bicycle is the ultimate decarbonized solution for everyday travel, Ricardo decided to create Velocidade, and started designing and creating handmade bags, in a completely artisanal way.
