All bags and backpacks are designed, drawn and manufactured by hand in our workshop in Mirepoix, Ariège. Discover our machines in the workshop to learn in detail the various techniques.

What materials do we use and what are our ambitions?
We provide you with the details and origin of the materials used for each of our products. Our goal is to have as many components as possible made in France. If we can't find them, we source them from the nearest source.
ACRYLIC CANVAS
We chose the Oeko Tex certified Sunbrella Plus canvas for its antifungal coating, its resistance to UV rays and abrasion, as well as its water-repellent treatment based on resins which ensures its waterproofing.

Pleasantly soft 3D mesh fabric made of COOLMAX freshFX functional polyester. Its fibre is strong but remains soft and thus ensures good comfort. The 3D mesh fabric is used on our backpacks and waist bags because it allows air to circulate and sweat to be wicked away, even when the fabric is in direct contact with the body.

The Expeditions
How do we minimize the environmental impacts of our shipments?
Packaging is an essential part of protecting products during distribution. But there is a balance to be found. At Velocidade, we have chosen not to use plastic in our packages.

For our shipments, we use cardboard shipping boxes, and we also collect as many boxes as possible from orders received at the workshop that we use for a new postal trip to you.

We are lucky to be close to the Mirepoix post office. All our items are sent by Colissimo and their delivery to the post office is always done on foot.

Speed Workshop
As a brand committed to sustainable development and respect for the environment, Velocidade is a member of the 1% for the planet program.
Companies participating in the program donate 1% of their turnover to the organization's partner associations, which have an ecological commitment.
Longevity and Durability
How do we make our products last over time?
All our products are designed to last a long time, with a durable design that makes it easy to repair if necessary. Even the finest seams and friction points are reinforced, either by using double canvases or by multiple stitching.
The thought put into design and attention to the quality of manufacturing of our products allows them to last a very long time.
But we are not immune to a fall... That's why we also guarantee a repair service, just in case...
