In our workshop, we handcraft them with soft, warm materials that don't itch and breathe just enough to keep you feeling comfortable.
Bandanas & half-masks: adjustable comfort
For those who like to adapt their protection as they exert themselves, a bandana (or half-mask) is the perfect accessory. It leaves the face uncovered while protecting the lower neck and cheeks. Ideal when the climb is hot and the descent is cold.
Balaclava: full protection
On truly cold days, when the air bites and the wind decides to be serious, the balaclava reigns supreme . Cut to fit snugly under a helmet and sewn in our workshop, it protects the face without hindering breathing. A must-have for long winter rides.

It's impossible to talk about winter without mentioning socks. Ours are knitted in Roubaix, from merino wool: breathable, warm, and naturally odor-resistant. They keep feet dry and comfortable, even when the temperature drops significantly.
Mohair wool hat: warm, soft, elegant
Mohair wool has that special something: warm, lightweight, soft, and naturally breathable. Our beanies are hand-knitted in our workshop, with particular attention paid to comfort and fit. Wear them under a helmet, or simply after your ride, when the exertion gives way to relaxation.
Quilted fleece scarf: soft, warm, lightweight
When the cold becomes biting, the quilted fleece scarf provides immediate protection. RICARDO VIEIRA - FOUNDER/DESIGNER/FASHIONIST
Ricardo has long been thinking about reducing his environmental impact, whether through his cycling and running, or in his daily life, having decided to become a vegetarian over 20 years ago. Curious and passionate, he began creating and making his first objects when his grandfather gave him a sewing machine for his 17th birthday, and since then, he has dedicated himself to creating, repairing, and making things with the same energy and in the same direction: simplicity and local production. Convinced that cycling is the ultimate low-carbon solution for everyday travel, Ricardo decided to create Velocidade and embarked on designing and crafting handmade bags using entirely artisanal methods.
