This February saw a great many Gypaète frame bags, a beautiful series of Baluchon handlebar bags ready to accompany both long rides and impromptu getaways, several Mini-Volcano saddlebags , as well as some Volcano Removable bags , and a few pre-ordered custom projects requiring even more meticulous attention: color choices, specific finishes, and unique little adaptations. Each piece passes through our hands, from the first cut to the final inspection.

Riding despite the winter
The weather was perfect for staying indoors… but not all the time. We managed to escape to the mountains. Glide the wheels over the snow, feel the cold air on your face, rediscover that pristine white silence we love so much. And even more precious: a few snowy walks with the family. Walking, sometimes pushing, breathing—and remembering why we do all this.
Small online updates
At the workshop, they're planning ahead. A few new things are in the works for the beginning of spring. The first pieces are taking shape.
While we await the next releases, a few new items have just arrived in the shop. A keychain and emergency strap , designed as a versatile accessory, is just as practical for everyday use as it is for cycling adventures. On the bike, it can also become an emergency strap for bikepacking—always useful for securing, attaching, or fixing items on the go.
And for those who appreciate details, a Velocidade patch to embellish your panniers and add a personal touch to your gear. Small, simple, and useful pieces, true to the spirit of the workshop.
The Bomb Disposal Team returns
February also marks the announcement of a new edition of the Démineurs (Miners) in October. An adventure around the Canigó, wild and rocky, just the way we like it. We're already starting to think about it. To prepare the bikes. To map out the routes.

RICARDO VIEIRA - FOUNDER/DESIGNER/FASHIONIST
Ricardo has long been thinking about reducing his environmental impact, whether through his cycling and running, or in his daily life, having decided to become a vegetarian over 20 years ago. Curious and passionate, he began creating and making his first objects when his grandfather gave him a sewing machine for his 17th birthday, and since then, he has dedicated himself to creating, repairing, and making things with the same energy and in the same direction: simplicity and local production. Convinced that cycling is the ultimate low-carbon solution for everyday travel, Ricardo decided to create Velocidade and embarked on designing and crafting handmade bags using entirely artisanal methods.
