There's something quite amusing about imagining Velocidade in Paris.
Our workshop is in Ariège. This is where I design, cut, sew and test every bag. Then, once they're finished, the bags head out onto the roads, by bike, all over the place. In November, it'll be our turn to hit the road.
From November 12 to 15, 2026, Velocidade will be at the Made in France trade show in Paris – Porte de Versailles.
It'll be a great opportunity to step away from the workshop for a bit and, above all, meet you in person.
You'll be able to discover the entire Velocidade collection, see the bags up close, feel the materials, check out the details and, of course, chat about bikes, travel, craftsmanship or simply get to know each other.
And because there's always a beautiful bike close at hand at Velocidade, two gorgeous titanium bikes from our friends at Caminade will also be joining us at the stand.
I'm really happy to be able to experience this Velocidade event at the 2026 Made in France trade show in Paris. After spending so much time behind my sewing machine, it'll be lovely to spend a few days on the other side: meeting you, talking about what we do and sharing a little of the world we've been part of since the beginning.

RICARDO VIEIRA-FOUNDER/DESIGNER/TAILOR
Ricardo has long been thinking about reducing his environmental impact, whether through his sports practice of cycling, running, or in his everyday life, having decided to be vegetarian over 20 years ago. Curious and passionate, he embarks on the creation and manufacture of his first objects when his grandfather gives him a sewing machine for his 17th birthday, and since then, he has endeavored to create, repair, manufacture with the same energy and in the same direction, that of sobriety and localism. Convinced that the bicycle is the ultimate decarbonized solution for everyday travel, Ricardo decides to create Velocidade, and embarks on the design and creation of handmade bags, in a completely artisanal way.
