At Atelier Velocidade, some products are born from an idea. Others from a choice. The Polaris custom backpack , however, starts with yours. Thanks to our online configurator, everyone can design their own bag: choose the color of the main panel, the left side, the right side, the pocket, the details… Create a unique set, true to your world, your bike, your everyday life.

What we love about this project is that it's not just about a personalized bag. It's a co-creation . You choose the colors, the combinations, the visual balance. We take care of the rest: the cutting, the assembly, the finishing, the durability. Each Polaris bag is made to order in our workshop. Cutting the panels, preparing the straps, sewing, checking the finishing touches… It's a meticulous process, which you can discover in the video accompanying this article. In 55 seconds, you'll see a bag come to life, from the first panel cut to the bag ready to ship.

RICARDO VIEIRA - FOUNDER/DESIGNER/FASHIONIST
Ricardo has long been thinking about reducing his environmental impact, whether through his cycling and running, or in his daily life, having decided to become a vegetarian over 20 years ago. Curious and passionate, he began creating and making his first objects when his grandfather gave him a sewing machine for his 17th birthday, and since then, he has dedicated himself to creating, repairing, and making things with the same energy and in the same direction: simplicity and local production. Convinced that cycling is the ultimate low-carbon solution for everyday travel, Ricardo decided to create Velocidade and embarked on designing and crafting handmade bags using entirely artisanal methods.
